NOTE: A Supercore consists of the Compressor cover, bearing assembly and wheels (I.e everything except the turbine housing), a supercore L380X will fit into a stock IS38 exhaust housing. No options come with an actuator, all are sold without actuators.<\/p>\n
The 1st of our IS38 hybrids is the entry level, IS38 replacement.<\/p>\n
This turbo is based on the stock IS38 turbo but as been design with a higher flow compressor wheel.<\/p>\n
A slim nose compressor with a larger inducer allows more airflow but none of the associated surge when the turbo is pushing to high stage 2 boost.<\/p>\n
Upgraded thrust bearings, as with all our turbos, means you can be assured the turbo is reliable as well as better performance rated.<\/p>\n
The compressor cover also does not have the teflon soft insert which is known to cause issues with the stock turbos.<\/p>\n
VSR balanced to a much higher standard than OE (0.5G max)<\/p>\n
